CORMAC is seeking a Lead Drupal Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of a high-quality web application using DevOps and Agile practices. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal web applications using DevOps and Agile methodologies. The candidate will collaborate with Scrum teams, establish coding standards, and manage the development team to maximize productivity. Strong technical expertise in Drupal, front-end technologies, and databases is required, along with experience in healthcare standards like AHRQ and Section 508 compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain Drupal web application leveraging DevOps practices.
· Practice Agile Software development methodology.
· Ensure requirements are accurately implemented (coding level) and verified.
· Design, develop, and test software solutions, using software design and development best practices.
· Work with other Scrum team members on project planning, Sprint planning, estimate, daily standup, Show & Tell, Sprint retrospective, etc.
· Establish, implement and monitor project standards and practices, such as coding standard, design review, code review, etc.
· Work effectively as a senior technical team member. Manage development team to maximize team productivity.
· Communicate appropriately to team members and supervisors.
Required Qualifications:
· A master’s degree from an accredited institution
· 15+ years of in-depth experience in the design and hands-on development of reliable, high performance Drupal web applications.
· Must have experience with Federal Drupal Implementation
· Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), US Web Design Standards (USWDS), Human Centered Design (HCD), & plain language editing
· Understanding Section 508 Compliance OR the desire to complete appropriate training to provide Section 508 document remediation support as necessary and implement accessibility standards and best practices.
· Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
· Must have resided in the U.S. for at least the last 3 years.
· Hands-on experience in RDBMS, such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, etc
· Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux environments.
