DevSecOps Developer

We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking DevSecOps Developer to play a crucial role in bridging software development and IT operations. This individual will lead DevOps activities for system migration projects, focusing on automating and managing configuration for stable environments. As a key player in our team, the DevSecOps Developer will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and IT operations to ensure smooth implementation, cybersecurity measures, and system optimization. If you're passionate about automation, process improvement, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

· Manage the installation & configuration of solutions

· Build and maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines

· Automate infrastructure provisioning ensuring environment and version control consistency

· Collaborate with application developers on software requirements as well as interpret test stage data

· Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions

· Complete code & script updates as well as resolve product implementation errors

· Oversee maintenance procedures, with a focus on automating routine activities

· Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.

· Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerable assessment and risk management

· Document processes & monitor performance metrics

· Review code work for accuracy and functionality

Requirements

· 5+ years’ experience in DevOps engineering, team management & collaboration.

· 2+ years’ experience with Infrastructure as Code automation tools such as HashiCorp Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS CloudFormation.

· Experience setting up, administrating, and maintaining AWS infrastructure management, automated configuration management, containerization, security scans, test automation, CI/CD pipeline, continuous delivery, and production deployment systems.

· Experience in systems operations, DevSecOps tooling, Agile principles, and Open Source tools and technologies required to support an automated software development delivery platform.

· Experience automating Windows, Linux, and Database administration activities in a collaborative development team environment focused on continual process improvement.

· Advanced knowledge of programming languages, such as: Python, Go (Golang), JavaScript/Typescript and JSON.

· Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

· Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working remotely using collaboration tools such as, but not limited to MS Teams, JIRA, and Confluence.

· Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), US Web Design Standards (USWDS), Human Centered Design (HCD), & plain language editing

· Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) experience

· Understanding Section 508 Compliance OR the desire to complete appropriate training to provide Section 508 document remediation support as necessary and implement accessibility standards and best practices.
