HTML/JS Developer

CORMAC is looking for a skilled HTML/JavaScript Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining dynamic, responsive web applications, focusing on front-end development. You will collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly websites and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, with experience in modern frameworks and libraries. Responsibilities

· Build, optimize, and maintain responsive and interactive web applications using HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS3.

· Implement modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) to create scalable web applications.

· Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment

· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and make sure web applications are compatible across multiple platforms and browsers.

· Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, ensuring website performance and fast loading times.

· Conduct thorough testing of your code to identify bugs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

· Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, tools, and techniques, ensuring your skills remain sharp and relevant.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a similar field of study.

· 5+ years of HTML/JS Developer experience

· Experience in generating process documentation and reports

· Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder or authorized to work in the U.S.

· Must have resided in the U.S. for at least the last 3 years.

· Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), US Web Design Standards (USWDS), Human Centered Design (HCD), & plain language editing

· Understanding Section 508 Compliance OR the desire to complete appropriate training to provide Section 508 document remediation support as necessary and implement accessibility standards and best practices.

· Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS

· Knowledge of version control system

· Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.

· Experience with Figma platform

· Practical ability with Microsoft Office & Adobe
